Past Contracts
2006-2007 Biomar
Successful completion of a
project to manufacture and install extension vents to fourteen
silos, which were complying for current legislation. This
project included every aspect of the work from design through
to corrosion protection.

2005–2006 Seagull
Trust
A L Gordon Engineering manufactured the
hull and associated metal works in the construction of
14m x 3m wide beam canal boat (The Barr Seagull). We
were also responsible for the successful launch of this
craft in April 2006.

2006 Scottish
Youth Hostels Association
In the past year our engineers
carried out a survey of fire escapes to a large number
of youth hostels throughout Scotland. This highlighted
that a number of repairs and new installations were required,
which we subsequently carried out.

Marshall Construction/Hall’s
A L Gordon were sub-contractors
in the latest upgrade to Grampian Country Food Halls, Broxburn. The
contract involved working on mild steel constructions and
on pipe work chutes and various hoppers which were manufactured
from stainless steel.

Alexander Dennis
We currently hold contracts
to carry out folding, welding, dressing of all aluminium
sections and manufacture and assembly of access doors.

Grampian Country
Food Halls
We have also undertaken contracts
for manufacturing and fitting of plant for the food industry,
including supplying materials made from mild steel and
stainless steel.

Falkirk Council
A L Gordon Engineering recently
secured the contract for blacksmith work, which involves
carrying out the work under our supervision to the specification
of the Local Authority.

Superglass
Our qualified tradesmen carry
out day-to-day maintenance of the plant and are involved
in any large projects to keep the plant up-to date.

Safehouse Habitats
We provide aluminium access
doors which are fitted into the successful safe working
areas used on oil rigs. |
